Work Experience Program 2025 – Applications Now Open!

Michael Cassel Group produces the world’s greatest theatrical productions and live entertainment on stages internationally. Michael Cassel Group’s mission is to inspire audiences by offering them the very best live entertainment experiences. The group’s home is based in Sydney, Australia with a global reach where management staff is based in Sydney, Melbourne, New York, London and Singapore. Productions entertain audiences around the world – on stage in Australia, on tour internationally and on stages on Broadway and the West End.

The team at Michael Cassel Group are thrilled to launch their Work Experience Program for 2025. Students and recent graduates are invited to apply, with applications now open.

The program will offer opportunities to engage with Michael Cassel Group and gain an understanding of the inner workings of a live entertainment company through professional placements, internships and work experience. Michael Cassel Group’s Work Experience Program 2025 will create opportunities for secondary school, tertiary and vocational education students, recent graduates and early-career professionals to learn from Michael Cassel Group’s expertise as producers and presenters of world-class theatrical productions and live entertainment.

The 2025 Program has various submission cut-off dates as outlined in the Program Document.

Final submissions close on Monday 3 February 2025 – applicants are encouraged to apply early, as applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

The program comprises of three streams.

• Professional placements in partnership with tertiary instituions, vocational education providers and accredited academic programs.
• Internships with Michael Cassel Group’s producing, marketing, publicity, ticketing, finance or legal teams, based at the group’s Sydney or Melbourne offices.
• Work experience on Michael Cassel Group’s live productions or based at the group’s Sydney or Melbourne offices.

The 2025 work experience program will be across the following productions.

• Dear Evan Hansen (Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide)
• MJ (Sydney)
• Beetlejuice The Musical (Melbourne)
